Garden Finds

Gary Winfield May 20, 2025

Over the last week or so I have begun grabbing a picture or two in the garden and then posting on instagram. Nothing out of the ordinary. My purpose is mainly to begin trying to re engage with Social Media and in particular posting with absolutely no expectation of how a post will be viewed or appreciated. The point is to be timely, be quick and not be overthinking.

The overthinking in particular used to be such a burden and largely led to my withdrawal when a. Life events meant that there was no time to spend crafting and re crafting a post before sending it and b. Realising through that period that my effort has probably been misdirected. I do love Instagram ir more specifically the people that I connect with who share my view if the world and so I want to get back to being more present there, posting routinely, sticking more to simple visual and worrying less about saying very much and if I have something to say then I think I will try and post it here.

This was todays instagram post. A quick shot of the first of the Poppy Blooms where we have allowed them to grow in the garden. Very welcome on a cold grey and very damp morning.
